6-Week Pre-Event Checklist
If you have not already ordered equipment and ticket stock for your event, please be sure to do that as soon as you are able.
Power, Internet & Space Readiness
- Confirm all kiosk/box office locations will have access to reliable power
- Confirm network connectivity for each location (Wi-Fi, hotspot, or cellular)
- Identify a safe, dry, lockable space with power for overnight charging
- Gather the cords and power strips needed for all devices

Account & System Readiness
- Confirm box office and mobile payment gateways are set up
- Create all needed products
- Verify products have correct sales and redemption rules
- Confirm locations and location groups are created and assigned.
- Confirm users are created with correct access to Spark tools and locations.
Staffing & Training Preparation
- Assign a staff member to own equipment setup, handling, and returns.
- Schedule time to train scanning and selling staff
- Review event policies related to ticket sales and entry with event staff

Planning Ahead
- Plan to inventory, set up, and test equipment when it arrives
- Ensure your team knows where to find Saffire documentation for setup and troubleshooting

When Equipment Arrives
- Locate Box #1 and find inside a blue envelope containing:
- A shipping manifest for detailed inventory of equipment received
- Return shipping labels
- An equipment Prep Packet to guide you through setup
