Cropping
Spark location: (Edit image: events, businesses, products, sponsors, photo galleries or homepage features)
To access the Cropping tool:
- Click on the module which contains images you want to crop. Then click on the image to open the Media window
- Click the 'Crop Image' button
Click/drag your mouse over the image to draw a crop box - the previews on the right show how the crop will look on the site.
If you click "Lock to square", the crop box will only draw a square and the full-size image on the site will look the same as the thumbnail. This is great to use when cropping for the Media Module, or for a list or grid of images.
Note: The crop tool for Main Feature images includes a "Lock Aspect Ratio" option. This allows you to crop based on the actual image ratio for your specific homepage.
