Description module

Description is a core module on event & business pages. It's used for adding a digest or overview of an event/business and it appears in the popup window seen when a user hovers over a title in the event/business listings. We recommend always including the description.

Click the Description module to add information.

In Edit mode, the module has a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface for formatting text. To see the description in Display mode, click the top bar of the module or use the ... (aka Power Dots).

This is what a completed module looks like in Display mode. For an even better look at your page, choose one of the preview buttons in Tools on the right side of your screen.

The Description is used as the event/business digest when viewing the listings. It can be hidden from the detail page [using the 'hide' option under the Power Dots on the design page], but the description will still appear in the event/business listings. So, it's important to always add a description even if you don't want it to appear on the event/business detail page.

NOTES

• the module can be hidden (from the PowerDots), but it cannot be deleted
• the module can be Scheduled (from the PowerDots)
