Scheduling Modules & Sections

This tool allows you to specify when a module or section is displayed on the page. You can set a start date OR an end date OR both. This a great way to control specific content on any page - such as an event on sale; a special announcement on a 'news' page; or for a limited time offer.

Spark location: Any page with modules & sections > Power Dots in the top right corner of the module

Choose 'Schedule It' from the Power Dots on any module in the top right corner (make sure the module isn't hidden and is set to "Show" not "Hide", so you're able to schedule the module).

Enter a start date (time is not required) if you want the module to appear at a later date.
Enter an end date (time is not required) if you want the module to hide at a later date.

These can be used independently or together.

If a scheduled display time is in the future or has passed, the module will appear 'ghosted' and a stopwatch icon will be present in the top right corner.

When you mouse over a scheduled module you'll see both the stopwatch and the Power Dots.
You can edit the schedule by clicking the stopwatch, or by selecting 'Scheduled' under the Power Dots.

To remove existing dates, click 'Clear Schedule'

The same tool is also available on every section. Visibility of every module within a section can be controlled with one setting.

If a scheduled display time is in the future or has passed, the entire section will be 'ghosted' and a stopwatch icon will appear, functioning exactly as it does for the modules.

Note: section scheduling takes priority over module scheduling. A parent section has be visible before any child modules can appear. In the example above, the 'Mega Savings Packages' has it's own schedule within a section that is also scheduled. But even if the the 'Mega...' module has a start date before the parent section, it still won't be visible until the start date of the section.
