Ticket Availability

You might have the need to sell certain products requiring delayed delivery - or even no delivery - of Digital Tickets (mobile wallet, landing page, and print at home tickets). In these instances, we have a tool that gives you the ability to tailor the messaging to your customers and manage when the scannable codes are accessible.

To get started, you'll need to check in with your Ticketing Account Manager and ask to have this toolset enabled. Once activated, you'll have both sidewide and product level settings which need some attention.

Sitewide Default Ticket Availability

Spark location: Commerce > Commerce Settings - Default Ticket Availability

After asking us to enable this for your site, you will be able to set the site default for your tickets. You can override this setting at the product level.

On Purchase:

As soon as your customer completes the transaction, they are directed to the Ticket Landing Page that displays all purchased ticket QR Codes. From this page, they can add to mobile wallet, print, share, and transfer (if enabled).

On Date:

The specific date will need to be set for each product. After completing the transaction, your customer will receive an email with receipt, but the landing page will not display the QR Codes. Additionally, your customers will not have the ability to add to a mobile wallet or transfer those codes until the specific date.

Specific Product Ticket Availability

Spark location:  Commerce > Products - edit product / Inventory & Codes tab

This is where the real power lies within the toolset. At the product level, you can choose immediate availability, delayed delivery, or no digital delivery

NOTE: If you set a delayed date and would like to have Saffire resend the Access Tickets email, you'll need to schedule that by reaching out to support@saffire.com.

Your customers' tickets will be accessible on the Ticket Landing Page on the set date, however there isn't an automated transactional email to inform them.

On Purchase:

Customers will have access to their purchased tickets as soon as they complete payment and check out.

On Date:

Customers will not have access to their purchased tickets until the selected delivery date. On the date you choose, your customers will be able to add the tickets to their digital wallets, view the codes on the landing page, and print the tickets at home.

No Digital Delivery:

Tickets for this product will not be available digitally. This is used for cases when you wish to fulfill tickets via mail or in person ONLY. The tickets will have to be printed by an Admin. You have the option to add text to the customer receipt to help explain why there's no ticket attached.
