New Marketing Reports

Spark Location: Commerce > Reports > Sales : in the filters, you'll see 3 new options directed towards Marketing efforts

We know that there are many ways to review your data and oftentimes, you'd like to know where your customers are coming from. These new reports give you the ability to understand where your customers are via State, City, & Postal Code.

Dropdown of Report Types from within the Sales Report

When you land on the Sales Report, you can use the dropdown on the top to select any of the three reports to view the data associated with your current filter set.

The results of the data is sorted by Revenue (highest to lowest).

Information being reported is:

  • Revenue (face value)
  • Revenue %
  • Taxes
  • Product Fees
  • Quantity of Orders
  • Order %
  • Units Sold - quantity of products or items sold (including SaffireTix & SaffireCommerce products)
  • Units Sold %
  • Total Revenue

Any orders that did not collect information for City/State/Postal code will result in being filtered into a row titled "Not captured". All orders sold via Kiosk and Mobile Box Office, and most sold via Web Box Office will be filtered into this row. I'd encourage you to Edit your filters for this report to Channels: Online for best results.

Channels Filter on Sales Report

NOTE: This report does NOT report on Transaction Fees or Delivery Fees. All data is only reflecting Active orders and products. This data is also only reflective of the ORIGINAL order date, quantities may change as there could be revisions to orders.

Use Case Examples:

  • Track your advertisement spend by location/region. For example: You can now correlate ROI for things such as purchasing billboard space, offers for local schools, etc.
  • Understand that there are different ways to interpret data, some locations may have more orders (Orders %), but don't spend as much on high dollar ticket prices (Revenue %). Consolidating this information for you in an easy to read Report is the first step to make informed decisions for future Marketing/Advertising spend.

Purchases Report Filter Additions

Spark Location: Commerce > Reports > Purchases

There have been two new filters added to this report so that you can isolate only orders that "Has record only credits" or "Has transferred tickets". Previously, this information was only located in the Export Detail for the Purchases Report. You can now filter down to these orders so that you can easily locate them.

  • Has record only credit: will display any orders that had been marked "Record Only" during the refund process. These will isolate orders that may show discrepancies with your Bank due to differing method of credit/refund.
  • Has transferred tickets: Filter all orders that have 'at least one' ticket transferred. For more information on the resulting list, you can filter then generate a Detailed Export or click View on the order to see which ticket(s) have been transferred.

Other Improvements

  • We have updated the standardized Social Networks to include: Trip Advisor, Yelp, & TikTok
  • Updated some of the verbiage across the site to standardize things such as: Log In & Log out
  • Improved the Change Log so that you can search by Name
  • Standardized the Date format for Form Submissions so that they display a 12hr clock and AM/PM in the .xlsx export file.
