How to install a Boca Printer on your computer. Note: Do not connect your printer to your computer until after the printer driver has been installed.

  • Download drivers for Windows 
  • Time to set up your printer and attach it to your computer.
  • Attach the power cord
  • Attach the USB cord to the printer and to your computer
  • Turn on the printer
  • Load the ticket stock through the back of the printer (See Boca Lemur Ticket Loading)
  • Attach the ticket tray to the front of the computer
  • Once the stock is loaded correctly try printing a test ticket from your Boca. The printer is ready to print when it is able to print out a self-test ticket by pressing the TEST button on the side of the printer. 
  • On your Window’s desktop click on the Boca Configure icon (See icon below). When the program opens for the first time it will ask you to update the program (See screenshot below)Proceed with updating the program to level 6.3.1.0 or higher.




  • Once the program is running, click on the "Select A Printer" drop-down arrow and you have two choices. Choose Printer Driver. 
  • You will need to select the FGL Driver Mode you want 
  • Choose #3 Spool BIDI



  • Right click on the Boca Configure icon on your desktop. 
  • Then click on Properties.
  • Click on the compatibility tab. Click on the “Run this program in compatibility mode for” box so it is checked off. Set the compatibility for “Windows XP (Service Pack 2)” and check off “Run the program as an administrator box. Click on the apply button. Click save.



  • Open your Windows settings and go to Devices
  • Look for Boca BIDI FGL 26/46 300 DPI
  • Make sure that it says “Online”
    • a.  Right click on the printer
    • b.  Click Manage
    • c.  Print a test page
  • If the printer spits out a ticket at this point you are ready to start selling and printing tickets!
