Email: Outlook setup instructions

If your company email is hosted by Saffire, here's how you can set up Outlook to send & receive:

 


  1. Create a new account in Outlook by going to File > Info (account information) > Account Settings. 
  2. Choose 'Account settings' under the dropdown menu
  3. Select 'New'
  4. Enter your email address
  5. Click 'Advanced options'
  6. Check 'Let me set up my account manually'
  7. Click 'Connect'
  8. Select IMAP for the account type
  9. Incoming mail:
    server = 
    mail.yoururl.com
    port = 143
    encryption method = NONE
    Leave 'Require logon using secure password authentication' UNchecked
  10. Outgoing mail:
    server = mail.yoururl.com
    port = 8025 (if this doesn't work use 25)
    encryption method = NONE 
    Leave 'Require logon using secure password authentication' UNchecked
  11. click 'Next' and enter your password

You can check email in a web browser by logging in at this address: webmail.YourURL.com
