Cart Abandonment
The purchase checkout page has a special feature which can be turned on to automatically send out reminders to customers who fall short of completing their transaction.
You may have experienced this before on other websites. It happens when a user gets interrupted during checkout, or maybe they had second thoughts about making the purchase... yet before they abandoned the purchase, they had already provided one key piece of information: their email address.
The Saffire Cart Abandonment tool will automatically send a message to that customer after a set length of time. To use this tool - which has no additional cost - you just need to request to have it turned on by Saffire Support. The default timing for the emails to go out is 3 hours after the cart is abandoned. We can adjust that timing, if you wish.
The email which goes out has a branded look and feel to it that encourages your customers to interact. It also has the option of including a 'You may also like' section to promote product upsells. Just let Saffire Support know if that should be enabled.
