Header Banner

The Header Banner tool allows you to place a short text message on the top of every page of your website to make special announcements. The banner will make room for itself by pushing down the page content.

Spark location: 

Tools > Header/Footer > Header Banner
or
Site Map > Header/Footer > Header Banner

  • The dashboard will display the current banner and any banners which have been scheduled for future dates. 
  • Once the end date has passed for a banner the status will automatically change to inactive. 
  • Hover over the banner name to access the management tools

Create a Header Banner

Select  Add New Header Banner

  • All of the fields which appear in the popup window are required. 
  • The message limit is roughly 110 characters - this is dependent on the font size which is standard on your site.

You  can include a link within the text by adding this HTML:

  • <a href='http://replace-this-text.com'>Text your visitors will see</a>
  • The coding IS included in the total character count.
